Some of his lyrics are so poetic and beautiful that they really tug at some heartstrings. As we approach the one-year anniversary of Lou Reed’s death, I thought it only appropriate to honor him as the true lyrical genius and musician that he was. I grew up listening to them, and could probably listen to them endlessly for the rest of my life. I absolutely love The Velvet Underground.
